OUR HISTORY

In September 2018, Trinity Grace Church PCA sent Rev. Chris Taylor along with 70 members to plant a confessional Presbyterian church devoted to Reformed doctrine and simple means of grace ministry in downtown Bentonville. In October 2020, CCB particularized, becoming a self-sustaining congregation with our own elected and ordained ruling elders and deacons. The church also elected Rev. Taylor to continue serving as pastor.

We would love for you to join us for worship and consider becoming part of what the Lord continues to do at Christ Church Bentonville.

A CONNECTIONAL CHURCH

We believe that the biblical pattern is for churches to minister with and to each other collectively. We also believe that the biblical pattern is for churches to be governed by presbyters (elders) who rule and minister jointly in what are called “church courts”. In our denomination this consists of sessions, presbyteries, and the General Assembly. Alongside the elders, deacons serve to help meet the physical needs of the church.

We are a member congregation of the Hills and Plains Presbytery of the Presbyterian Church in America. The Book of Church Order of the PCA lays out the Form of Government, Rules of Discipline, and Directory for Worship for our denomination.
